The AV Architects + Builders® privacy policy (“Policy”) applies to all content created by or belonging to AV Architects + Builders®. This Policy does not apply to any other site accessed by a link located on the Sites.

1. Definitions. “Content” shall mean all materials published on the Sites, including but not limited to text, images, video, graphics and multimedia files. “Financial information” shall mean a User’s social security number, credit card number or expiration date, or the number of any account held by User in any financial institution. “General information” is all information related to Users other than “financial information”, whether provided by the User on the Sites or otherwise obtained by AV Architects + Builders®. “Sites” shall mean avarchitectsbuild.com and other AV Architects + Builders® social media forums. “User” shall mean any person or entity that accesses or uses the Sites in any manner. AV Architects + Builders® shall mean its employees, officers, directors, and all other persons or entities affiliated with the association responsible for creating, maintaining, and publishing the Sites.

2. We use information about our Users for administrative, operational and financial purposes. Databases are maintained to store information regarding product purchases, and other Financial and General information.

3. AV Architects + Builders® will not release a User’s Financial or General information to anyone outside AV Architects + Builders® without first obtaining the User’s written consent, except for information that we are legally required to gather and/or report to government agencies.

4. Electronic Mail Privacy: AV Architects + Builders® values, and commits to preserve, the privacy of its Users, and to protect them from unwanted solicitations and other invasions of privacy. To that end, AV Architects + Builders® and its employees will not, under any circumstances, sell, offer or otherwise distribute or make available the personal or company email address of any User to any individual or entity, including members of AV Architects + Builders®, charities, political associations or candidates, vendors, contractors or affinity partners. AV Architects + Builders® will obtain from all individuals and entities with whom AV Architects + Builders® deals and who might have access to such email addresses the contractual commitment to abide by this policy.

5. User may correct, update or delete* Financial or General information previously provided to the Sites or otherwise maintained in AV Architects + Builders® databases by:

Financial and General information collected from Users via online request for information and order forms is used to process and send orders, bill credit cards, and for AV Architects + Builders® proprietary use. You may be asked to provide contact information (i.e., e-mail address, phone number, firm name), unique identifiers (i.e., social security numbers may be volunteered), and/or financial information (i.e., credit card number). Financial and e-mail information supplied via online forms and is used only by AV Architects + Builders®. It is not sold or provided to third party vendors, direct mail concerns, email list services, etc.

8. Cookies are small text files that may be placed on User’s computer’s hard drive. Essentially, cookies are identification cards for the AV Architects + Builders® computers, or servers that placed them there. AV Architects + Builders® may use cookies on members’ computers to identify that User when that User accesses the Sites in the future. Cookies may also be used to provide personalized service to Users of the Sites.
